All。 The。 Feels。 This was one heck of an emotional ride。 I love strong female lead characters who keep going for what they want。 And I loved our lead male。 This story has so many things going for it but the most addictive part was how much they loved each other & what they were willing to do for the other。 It was a beautiful， well crafted second chance， small town romance。

I have been missing Renshaw’s books and I was so excited when this came out。 I just wish the synopsis matched the actual story！ Yeah they made a marriage pact and yeah they went to their ten year reunion but neither of that held any actual importance in the scheme of things。 The conflict was also a bit too convoluted and I really didn’t connect with Wyatt。 So overall this was just okay for me。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。

The story of Wyatt and Blaire， their boundless love and the dark secrets threatening to destroy them， kept me glued to the pages from beginning to end。 I loved both the main characters and the colorful side characters。 Some are layered and complicated， some just brings their sunshine to the pages。 The story is told with enough intimacy and enough distance that the author can unravel the layers as we go along。 As a reader you always sense there is more of something， but not quite what it is until The story of Wyatt and Blaire， their boundless love and the dark secrets threatening to destroy them， kept me glued to the pages from beginning to end。 I loved both the main characters and the colorful side characters。 Some are layered and complicated， some just brings their sunshine to the pages。 The story is told with enough intimacy and enough distance that the author can unravel the layers as we go along。 As a reader you always sense there is more of something， but not quite what it is until you get the carefully placed snippets of information。 I also really appreciate how the writing style， especially in the prologue， makes you feel the urgency and stress from the POV it is told。 In the beginning it feels urgent， staccato and somehow all over the place， but it feels calculated to get us to really feel the beginning of adulthood and the big， scary transitions they are headed for。 It sets it up beautifully。 So well done！ And that cover… swoon！ 。。。more

BEAUTIFUL Heartfelt！A beautifully written heartfelt story that grabs hold of my heart from the get go and continued to tear me apart and put me back together。 Yes there are tears of sadness but the fun filled banter helped to right my emotions。 This story is deep， raw and frustrating in a good way with secrets and twists that kept me on edge and desperately needing to turn the pages。。 I enjoyed it very much and is a well deserved five star read。
